I’m still tired.  I already went on a two-day vacation last Monday and Tuesday but I still feel used up.  Of course, the rest period without any contact from the office did some good.  I was able to organize my room, went to watch a movie, and most importantly, I got to sleep long.  Yep.  A few more hours of sleep can do wonders for me nowadays.  I can’t seem to get enough of it.  There’s no such thing as too much sleep, or too much vacation for me.
All of this I attribute to improper planning.  “Improper planning” here means I kinda advised my team members to file holiday vacation leaves early, resulting to me not being able to schedule mine, as my back-ups spread out at different days, so I need to be in the office so the team’s still fully-covered.  I got the usual public holidays.  And from then on until my scheduled leave last week, I was in the office.  I really can’t remember well, but I think this is the first time since I started working that I didn’t take advantage of the long holiday option, either before or after Christmas.  It’s not so bad, but due to the fact that I really am not that young anymore, I guess all the stress and effort is catching up on me.  Oh well.  It makes me think if I really should be working this hard to earn THAT much money, and if there really is no easier way to earn a decent upscale lifestyle.  Anyway, enough of that rant.  I don’t need to be reminded of THOSE especially now that my to-do lists can’t fit into one day of my Starbucks planner.  This year, I’m filing my holiday vacation early.  I wonder how much it would cost for me to relax in Bohol….

i went to bohol a couple of years back.. and we went to this really cheap resort sa tabi mismo ng bohol beach club.. pramis.. mura lang..
it wasn't as expensive as staying in bohol beach club.. ang nakakainis lang.. di ako nakapunta sa balicasag island.. kasi wala na kaming lahat pera.. hahaha
but i'm hoping i get to go back one of these days...
